My son is selling his 2006 Summit with a Mad Max Performance 1000 big bore in it. These engines made 185 hp on Split Seconds dyno. For comparisons sake, we dynoed a Cutler 1150 built by a well known builder that was supposed to be 220 hp, and it made less. These have been VERY strong and reliable packages.
Engine was just completely rebuilt, new crank,( with the upgraded bearings) and re-nicasiled cylinders, new pistons, etc. He is going to school, and will need the money, so he is just going to ride a MM700 yammy for now. This sled has a 159x16x2.3"er on it, and skid. Crank Shop Twin pipes, 44 carbs.... a few weights and a cover I think. Digitron, Mountain perfomance seat. Engine isnt even broke in yet, it is COMPLETEY brand new, and ready to go. We might take it out this weekend to break it in if we get time.
Awesome fast sled, and climbs like nothing else. These engines have been a super reliable package, that just flat out hauls. If it doesnt sell, I will probably keep it for myself to ride...
