2003 summit 800 h.o idling high help

I Got An 03 800 H.o Summit With 680 Priginal Miles. When I Start It It Idles High And Doesnt Seem To Go Down Wigh Chocking It. Ive Adjsted Idle Screw But When Turned Down It Seeems To Stall.

Any Ideas? What ShOuld It Idle At? Hasnt Been Ran Since It Was Summarized. I Just Bought It And Want To Get Going On It. Ive Been A Yamaha Owner And ThisiIs My First Doo.

Took It For A Ride. Takes 3 To 4 Seconds For It To idle Down TO 1300 Rpms. If I Hit The Reverse It Stalls. Sprayed Boots With Carb Cleaner And Did Not EffecT Rpms So I Think There Us No Cracks In The Boots.

Any Ideas anyone

do you have any free play in the throttle! cable might be too tight!, leaky crank seal, where did you buy it from elevation, and where are you at now elevation?

Bought From MidWest. Was Ridden In Higher Elevations And Midwest. Was Told It Was Set Up For Low Elevations. I Am In Michigan. There Is Play In Throttle Cable. How Would I Know If Its A crankseal
