2003 Polaris 800 Vertical Ecape engine parts

Looking for place to replate the cylindars or new cylindars, pistons, gasket set to rebuild engine,or engine parts. Also, engine has different brain box with no reverse capability, yet the machine comes stock. Where can I find a brain box with reverse for this.

Langcourt or Millenium can replate the cylinders.

You can get aftermarket parts from several locations, I use HiPerformance Engineering to order parts from... I don't use stock parts other than the metal base gaskets.

You can watch ebay or even the swap here for a reverse CDI. Or you can buy one new from Polaris.

Are you sure you have a "vertical escape" then? The 2003 VE was a special package that had light weight parts, suspension, and was the first to have reverse and DET. It was a black hood with red stripe on seat and chrome sticker accents. The DET sensor they used on that engine was a differnent size and is crazy expensive. The 2004 motors all came with reverse standard but used a different sensor thats around $40. This is the reason the 2003 used a different box. you cannot interchange the 2004 & 2003 DET boxes because of the sensor. The 03 sensor is bigger than 04 and thus they have different heads to mount the DET. If you do have the VE engine, Not sure why you dont have the box with it. You will need to use the specific box for the 2003 because that is the only year that used that sensor and head combo. Or you can buy a new head and update the sensor and use the updated box which may be easier to find. Any edge 700-800 made after 2004 will use the same DET box.
