This engine is out of an 02 XC800. I bought it back a few years ago for a spare, but it's just been sitting in a crate in my garage ever since. I was told it has just over 3000 miles on it, has 140 compression in both cylinders and everything is stock. I have a spare stator and the thermostat cover that goes on the head. They are not in the pictures but I will include them in the sale. Looking through the exhaust ports, it appears that the cylinders have been honed. The mag side cylinder and piston look great, no scratches or anything. The PTO side appears to have some scratches in the piston and cylinder wall. The pictures show this. There looks to be new gaskets and sealant between the case halves, so I assume this engine had been disassembled before I bought it. I'm asking $1000 + shipping for this engine, but feel free to make me any offer you have.
