2002 Mountain Cat 800 EFI LE

Hi Guys i bought my wife a 2002 Mountain Cat 800 EFI LE
it has nasty clutch engagment about 4500-500 RPM to much for her what would be the best setup for a soft engagement for her

thank you

An Arctic Cat red spring 0646-159 and 58 gram Polaris or Cat weights has worked well for me. It brings the engagement down to about 3500 and is nice and smooth, that engine has plenty of grunt to engage even lower.

That is the same combo I used in my 02 when I had it and it worked VERY well. I think you can go lower if you want like Idcatman1 said it has plenty of snort for heavier weights for even lower engagement.

Thanks Miko, you seem to be one of the few who agree with me about the lower engagement! You are right about the spring part number, I must have fatfingered the keyboard.
