2002 700 and 800 RMKs need electric start

Is there any way to put Electric start on theses now, will 04 parts work , thanks for any help, would buy new if need be,, really love these sleds

I don't think that new e-start kits are available for those models,unless you found a dealer that still has one in stock. I do think the start kit from a 2004 model will work. I am sure you realize that you would have to use the 04 clutch with the ring gear on it.

The Edge electric start kit will work on the Edges, 2002 to 2005. I pulled the starter off my 2002 800 and installed it on my 2004. I've installed the same on 2005 Edges. You will have to find a kit left over at a dealer or find used. Pleanty of reman and new starters still available.
