Hi guys.
This past weekend I melted a PTO side piston on a 00 MXZ 700. I tore it down last night, and I noticed that one of the 2 wires that goes to the temp sensor was unplugged.
Just wondering if anyone knows what effect that unplugged temp sensor would have? Any chance it could have contributed to the melt down?
I theory of what actually caused the meltdown, was moisture in the fuel causing the carbs to ice up, which in turned starved that cylinder for fuel.... but, just wondering if temp sensor was actually plugge in correctly, if that might have helped prevent the meldown?
Any opinions?
Thanks
Aaron
