2000 700HM carb intake boots

Boyseen rage cage's is what I did on my 800 then you never have to worry about it again:)

I had this same problem a couple weeks ago. Believe it or not those boots are pretty hard to find. Theyre known for cracking and dry rotting.

I did some searching on ebay and found a new pair of VForce for 230 beans.
The thing to be careful with VForce is the carbon reed petals they use WILL eventually wear and chip off on the ends. So if you buy them make sure you dont forget about them and atleast check them every once and again.

I did noticed a crispier throttle response after putting them in tho.. I still need to play with some jetting

Good Luck!

i got 13 000 km & 10 years out of mine with several different types of reeds on 'em...never had any issues with delaminating etc. i finally changed them out this year cause they were getting fairly weathered looking around the boost bottle connection and threw on a fresh set of boysey power reeds (the two stage fibreglass- way less chipping probs than the carbon fibre- imo)it was a tad pricey getting them from bombie but if they'll last for another 13 000 km ...what do i care right?-:face-icon-small-hap
