****20' Alumaweld Stolen****

I know this is a sled forum but my other sled, a 20' Alumaweld jet-sled with a 150 Merc Jet on the back was stolen last night right out of my driveway. Locks were cut and bye-bye. Boat was stolen from the Auburn/Federal Way area this morning between 3:00 am-6:00 am. I know it's a shot in the dark, but if you wouldn't mind keeping a look out.

This was my dream boat from the age of 13 until the age of 29. We made monthly payments for 11 years before finally paying it off a couple of months ago.

There are a lot of boats out here. im doing the lake run this week so ill keep an eye out for it.
What or does it have any distinguishing marks,dents ,stickers?

I'll be checking the boat launch here on the Snohomish below my house daily when I leave for work, a lic. plate # for the trailer and make would be helpful also if they've already launched. We'll wait for their return and let you have at them.

sorry to hear your news , I am up in Everett and fishing the Snohomish alot. I also work on I-5 for the D.O.T , I will keep my eyes open for it . Is there any distinguishing things about your boat ? Is it on a Rouge trailer ? and the plate number on the trailer . Hope its found so we can have a head bashing party

I'm on the Snohomish County rivers for work all summer i'll look for it. I can try and swing by the launches too.

Got any specific trailer and boat discriptions, stickers, scars incase WN and Licences were changed?

I'll print out a pic and put it our jetboat and truck to remind me.

Well the boat was found stripped on 80th St East, East Tacoma. The location of the recovery makes me have my suspicions about "who" may have been behind the thievery. Anybody that knows that area could garner a guess, never know.

I'll have to go look at it in the morning. Cops didn't even bother calling us went ahead and impounded it so I'm not sure what I am about to find.

I have a feeling those motors, 150 Merc Jet (Tiller but could be adapted to a console easily) and a 9.9 Merc 2 stroke could be running the lower "Puyallup."

We did have insurance but now with this new news, I don't know if it being found is good or bad. I'm too picky for a scrap togethered anything.

Letter in mail saying i owed 2 weeks storage bill from towing company. Cops i guess are too busy to let you know they recovered your stuff.

Thanks for the replies guys. I thought it might have just been Christian borrowing it.

I keep thinking all the crap that happens to us ( I could write a book, this is nothing) is payback from my childhood. But the only thing i ever stole was a can of copenhagen....after they refused to sell it to me...I was 13.

I went and looked at the boat a few days ago. It is completely stripped. Even the trailer got F'ed up big time. I had it chained to a tree. They must have gotten a surprise when they went to take off. But they didn't panic, they had some massive bolt cutters from the remnants of cut $hit left over.

It was stolen, stripped, and found in 10 hours. King County sheriff didn't bother inspecting or taking prints. "Just let your insurance company handle it!"

There were 2 locks on the tongue and 5/8 chain wrapped around the rear of the trailer. One of the trailer locks was the $80 kind that goes inside the hole of the tongue. They even took my 5/8 chain.


Looks like fall coho and winter steelhead will just be a dream.
