2 wheel kit

Hey guys Im thinken about installing a 2 wheel kit of my renegade 1000. If i was to install that kit along with removeing the front outside idler wheels will this affect the way my sled handles on the trail. Ive powder coated the rails and think that a setup like that would look sweet just dont want to affect to much how the sled handles.

It will not effect your handling on the trails.. But you will be changing out you hifax more often than you would if you left the front wheels..

Thanks guys!! I ride in northern wisconsin on groomed trails never seen anyone with ice scratchers. Do you use them when your in a condition like rideing on hard pack or across ice??

There is no need for them on the Rev Chasis.. Unless you take the front wheels off.. Than you need them to throw up snow and ice to keep everything cool or you will melt it all down!

Paddle length on your track is what really determines whether or not you need scratchers. The longer the paddle the more necessary the scratchers become. If your machine has reverse I recommend using the cable scratchers versus the wire ones. Well worth the $70.00. Not to mention they help keep your buddies from following too close!

Just a tip, don't store them on the rails over the summer. They do not throw nearly as much snow as the "normal" scratchers but they seems to do well enough. I find that I end up riding half the day with them down even in the powder because they are much lower stress.
