2 wheel kit

i have a 1m 900 with the 7 1/8" rear idlers, has anyone tried to use the black inner idlers off a 07 m8, can you get 25mm i.d. bearings for these wheels? just trying to save some money, got the wheels for free but don't know if they are strong enough. the rear adapter requires the larger i.d. bearings. thanks.

I you are just putting 8 in wheels on with out an off set you will bend the axle and cause you some problems. Need a beefed up axle when going to just 2 wheels as well.

I had the rails for 8 inch wheels. The axle was the stock one cut to fit, then the cut end was tapped for the stock bolt. I never had a problem but also only ran that setup for a season. I don't know if it makes a difference but the rear suspension was from an M series that I ran on my yamaha. Here's a picture of the setup.

Your trying to do the same as me. Replaced the 7.125" wheels with 8" Cat spoked wheels. I got the 25MM Mountain fit offset axle. This turned out to be a bummer as there axle dia. and those stock 20MM bearings won't work! I looked at every bearing house in Seattle and no go! I bought a 25MM bearing that was a little larger than the ID in the wheel. Chucked it up several times in the lathe and bored out carefully. The bearings have a .025 to .030 interference fit in the plastic wheel. Works great, Others on here said it is available?? Otherwise, get one of there plastic wheels with the right bearing! I think the stock are 20 x 42 x 11MM I think I bored out to 47MM if I recall

Good luck
Mike

Buy the BDX 2 wheel kit, can get it from BDX or SLP. Its only like $30 and bolts up very easily with the 7 1/8" or 8" wheels.....

On a sidenote, I have some 8" wheels with 25 mm bearings if you want.

Here you go. They are an older wheel, not as cool as some of the new stuff, but I have 4 of them I would sell cheap. We used these in a big wheel kit we sold for Ski Doo's a few years back.

Just pop out the plastic bushing to run the bigger ID.
