2 wheel kit

Some say the extra lip room on the outside of the track throws more snow back up at your coolers. Not sure if this is valid or not as I haven't run mine this year yet. I just put a kit on mine over the summer.

That is the one thing I noticed. Maybe a little easier to lay over, maybe?. other than that it just looks bad azz.

I was wondering if anyone has used a two wheel kit and used the stock wheels. I dont think there would be much too it. If anyone has any pictures of this or knows where to get a kit to use the stock wheels let me know.

10.5

If you are going to go to the trouble and cost of "big wheels" Go with real BIG wheels.. 10.5 is the way to go.. And no nees to cut your stock rails... I think the stock wheels are already 7.75 in... 8 in. or even 9 in. not that much different.. Go BIG...

I did the MMP two 8" wheel axle conversion on my 440 when I stretched it to a 136". Looks great, not sure how it will perform because it has yet to snow. Only complaint I already have is the track tension assembly is a ***** to get to. When doing the conversion you have to move the units to the INSIDE of the rails......not easy to work with once in there. Here are a few pics.

no performance difference of any kind in any conditions.....just looks cool. That's it, nothing else.....I like the Mountain Machine off-set axel kit with the 8 inch fabcraft wheels myself.

I am running a 144" extended to a 151" will I need a bigger track to run 9" wheels or what set up will I need on my track?:face-icon-small-con

an off set axle will work with the big wheels
what it does is move the center of your wheels forward more so you can run the same size track with bigger wheels

is there anyone out there that makes drop brackets for the zx chassis like the one that smitty makes. How muchdo the drop brackets and two wheel kit from smitty cost anyone know? thanks

give him a call. go straight to the source. smitty is a great guy, not a salesman. he'll take care of you. my 2 wheel kit and risers are awesome

Hit smitty up for offset Axel he got right back to me doesn't look like his kit works for the ZX anyone know who makes a good offset for this sled???
