After getting close to a thousand miles of seat time on my sled this year i figured its a great time to give a product review on my Trail tank. at the beginning of the year there were quite a few debates on sloshing of the fuel making the chassis feel/act funny when the tank would get low on fuel. I am here to tell you there is no such issue. I know Seth has changed his design for the new tanks to allow for some foam inserts to help with the "sloshing" but i can tell you that i have ran my tank from full to fumes many times and have never had one issue. the stock fuel pick ups work great on the larger tank. and not once has it ever felt any different due to the fuel having so much more room to "slosh" around. yesterday for example i put on 70-80 miles of boondocking and tree riding in over the hood powder most of the day. and to be able to do that on a turbo 800 running 14lbs of boost with out having to add any extra fuel is amazing! The tank is the perfect size to allow a rider to go out and ride all day long as hard as he can and still make it back to the truck with out having to pack extra gas cans, or bum any fuel off his buddies. This is by far one of the best mods i made to my sled over the summer. Thank you Trail Tanks!
