2 sleds in a 7x12 or 7x14?

Right now I'm riding a Timbersled and need a trailer to haul it and dirt bikes in the summer.

I was debating between a 6x12, 7x12 and a 7x14

I could see myself picking up another snowmobile down the road.

I am thinking you should be able to easily fit two sleds in a 7x14? I'm assuming one in forward and one in backwards?

What about a 7x12?

I would think you could only fit one sled in a 6x12.

I'm towing it with a 3/4 ton Cummins so trailer weight isn't a huge concern. However the cost of the trailer is. A 6x12 is almost half what a 7x14 is.

Also when dragging the trailer around on forest service roads in the summer, the smaller size is nice

7x14 is still a VERY small trailer in the scheme of things, and would be my choice. Trailers are like houses, shops, and buying fake knockers for the wife. Almost never do you find you went to large, and almost always find yourself wishing you went bigger.

I have a 6x12 and a 7x14 for tool trailers. I've had a 163 and a 155 pro in the 7x14. Two sleds would never fit in the 6x12.

I think it depends a little on the sleds. Late models are longer and narrower. Pro, Axys, XM, XP, all for sure 2 in a 7x12. Older sleds maybe not so much. I understand your spot, 7x12 single axle and lots less money than the average 7x14 tandem. When I went looking for a trailer I put a chalk drawing of the inside of the trailer on the driveway and made sure I could put my sleds inside of it.

We haul a 153 viper and 155 Axys in a 6x12. Still plenty of room for gear a fuel jugs and some tools.

A 6 x 14 single axle trailer will haul two 163" sleds . . .one forward and one backwards. At least 3" clearance between the sleds and 3" clearance on each wall.
