This summer I did hay for a guy who gave me a old trailer he had that was kinda beat up but had a good axle and frame under, so i hacked the box off it and am going to put my flatbed deck i used on my truck last year to make a little 2 place. dont worry, the flatbed isnt a real one, it was ment to only hold 2 sleds. I was just looking for some overall dimensions on 2 places, and from the tongue to the axel and tongue to the rear end.

I am also going to extend the deck from 8x8 to 8x10, I am just looking for some starting point info so i make a trailer that is easy to back up and has a good balance to it for towing.

I have a trac pac drive on/off, 13 feet from tongue to axle, 7 feet from axle to the end of trailer. Deck is 11 feet then the v starts.
The bars on the sled are straight above the axles..

Usually the axle is back 60% of the deck length, so on a 10 ft deck, it's six feet from front of deck.

yeah, i was curious about axle placement as i didnt want tit to be lifting on the tongue... and not to nose heavy. thanks for the info guys.. gonna make it a LOT easier to make this setup now with an idea of what im doing!
