lowering driver tooth count will increase acceleration (like lower gearing)..and reduce top speed.

i ran 9t extros (if i remember right) in my 02 renegade with 2" tracks.
relocated skid.
no d/r.

skid relocate makes the biggest difference on these chassis..well the ones w/o it done already anyway.

I think he ment his chain case gearing not drivers. What gearing is in the sled now? The book shows 24/43 I would suggest 22/43 the top gear is cheaper to buy the the bottom gear, and you might loses a little top end but not much.
