New to Polaris this year , sled is 2016 axys rmk pro 155. I was wondering why there is 2 adjuster rings bottom of front skid shock.

thanks I was thinking of that but found it really hard today to loosen it up to make an adjustment.

Both mine loosened all the way up from vibration. Retaining ring fell out spring wore up and down on shock body wrecking threads and poked into track and took some nice size gouges out of it. Was all replaced under warranty, but the 2nd ring is there for a reason!

Who makes a good tool for the retaining ring. Mine is just a cheap one and does not work all that well.

Did you lift the sled off the grou d when you tried to adjust them?

Polaris gives you a spaner wrench to fit those shock body nuts when you buy the sled. Do you not have the wrench? they dont need to be that tight, and its also a good idea to use some anti-seize on those threads. Eric

Only tool I got was plug wrench and the clutch tool. Bought sled used , had 600 miles on it. I will put a little anti seize on threads.
