2.86 avid drivers with 3.0 pitch track?

Like the title says I have heard guys with the doos have tried this and it is working fine. Can anyone give me first hand info on this. I wanna put a 3.0 on my sled and I already have the 2.86 drivers. I would really like to not have to switch drivers again. any help is appreciated. any pics would be awesome too.

Ive run the 162 3 pitch all year no problems, going to sell it and get a 3" paddle for next year.

Cog that was on avid 2.86 drivers? Or was that with 3.0 pitch drivers?
