2.6 lb carbon fiber can for Pro

Everyone needs to email these guys and tell them to get it done for the Pro (the told me they were going to add it this year but sooner is better)....would save us 9lbs on an already light weight sled. Price is good to.

Their email direct link (click and send them an email)

I wasn't aware that HPS had a can that was under 3 lbs?

They don't but they did all the work for exact backpressure/sonic reflectance needed so other companies can knock off their design like the can you post does (rather obviously).

Have FUN!

I imagine that the process of building a CF can would require plenty of inhouse work not done by other companies (namely HPS for the argument). Every company puts work into these things (insulting against them, really, to insinuate that they couldn't manage alone). And while it may seem like somebody gets ripped off for putting out a product first, that is the risk of releasing without a patent. They call it capitalism.

Well if its anything like the one for the 800 ETEC it will be loud as hell. My buddy has one and wears earplugs when he rides, and none of us want to be anywhere near him when he hammers it and the nose comes up as it is physically painful to your ears. I sure hope the one for the Pro is a bit quieter.

What we need is for some one to make a stock can out of carbon with the stock sound level. My hps is too loud had 5 rides with it and its coming off.

I kno wmy buddy had one on his etec and omy it barked, I was taking pics when he catwalked by me last year and was deff for a few minutes.

The 800 etec carbon can is loud because there is no resonator in the tuned pipe like the 800r motor does. I've owned both and there is a difference in noise. My guess is the pro carbon can will be the same as a bikeman powder lite can, are a hps can with some miles on it.
