Hit something this last week in the Saw Tooths. Not sure when/what, but it looks like it could have been a fence post or something of the like from the damage.

Carl's wants > $1600 for a new 2.6 163 post-tax.... Not paying that. Am I playing with fire running it until I can source a take-off or maybe throw a power-call on it?

I wouldn’t hesitate to run it and monitor the situation each ride.

I think this one is what was recommended by someone in another thread to repair torn track lugs so this is what I bought just in case I need it for track repair plus it glues fabric, tarps, shoes, etc.

I would look at the CAMSO 2.5 extreme I put one on my last machine after I ran over a T post and tore the center of that track up and the 2.5 pulled and performed on that sled better than the 2.6 . I now have a 2018 AXYS RMK 163 2.6 and I think that the 2.5 was was a better performing track all around and It was less than $760 to my door from Tracks USA and no driver change either, less than an hour to change it out.

Run it and watch it after each ride. Take a look at this 2020 Polaris SKS 800 155" with 750 miles on it.... lol. This one hasn't ripped in half yet. Don't worry not my sled.

Interesting on the price you got at Carl's, Polaris Part #5415392 Price is $1,379.99 plus 6% is $1.462.73, did that include install, if that's the case then its a good price.

You can get a Challenger Extreme Track 163" x 2.5" #9105M for $675.00 + tax or a Peak 2.5 #9231M 163" x 2.5" for $780.00 + tax from Tracks USA as an alternative if you do not want to buy a used one or a new one from Polaris.

Sorry, GTWitch, we were posting at the same time and was looking for the picture of the track to attach. Essentially posted the same info.

Price wise must of been with labor. Won't pay that labor wise or not. Easy swap, and cheaper options out there.

Going to glue it up and run it.
