2.5" track clearance on REV

OK, So i bought a 162x16x2.5" track off of a 06 highmark pro. The track is 2.52" pitch. I am going to swap out my 159 challenger lite on my 07 800R and was wondering if I will have the clearance i need in the rev chassis with my stock 2.52 pitch, 9 tooth drivers. I am getting a 9" big wheel kit to compensate for the 3" longer track.

Camoplast don't make a 2.5" track with 2.52 pitch.

No they didn't. Scrolled down and see available track lengths from the BRP page. 162 is a 2.25

The 2006 Summit Highmark X does have a 2.5" track, both 151" and 162". See the last two columns on the detailed Summit archive for 2006.

I believe its a 2.25...thats a misprint...I would add smittys drop brackets, next stiffer rear springs and rebuid the rear shock to make full use of that track...I can help with all 3...as for the big wheel kit, that will be enough (you only need 1.5" of track to take up)...BJ

My understanding was skidoo tested the 2.5" track and found it to be no improvement over the 2.25 or 2.313 tracks.

If it was indeed available then tracksusa would of had them available.

Why would I want to do all that to my suspension?

I was under the impression that the track in question was a 2.313. That's the one that I am currently running on my Rev. You will have plenty of clearance to swing that track.
