i have a 07 rmk 600, just wondering if you could run a 2.5 camo ex 3.0 pitch track with a 8 tooth driver with no mods has anyone done this is there enough room?
2.5 camo will it fit?

I ran one on a modded 08 Dragon and an 09 Turbo Dragon. However, I wouldn't recommend that track for a 600. It is heavier than the Polaris track (7 lbs. is my recollection). It also does not work as well in deep snow. It is a better spring snow track but you need the power to spin it and a 600 is going to be short on that.
on your dragon did you have any clearance issues, or track rubbing anywhere, oh ya i forgot to say that i have a turbo?

Even with the turbo, I wouldnt do it without doing a drop and roll. Yes, it will fit, and shouldn't rub if run tight. However, When in the deep powder the clearance is so tight you will plug up the front of the tunnel with snow very badly. That, not the weight of the track mentioned above is why this combo sucks in the deep without doing a drop and roll. Trust me, buddy did a d&r on his, I went cheap. Then I got my a$$ handed to me anytime the snow was awesome. Any other day, My mod beat his stocker. But in the deep, I might as well shut mine off. Many days I did. 
wow i didnt think it would make that much difference what kit do you recommend the most!

Fastrax kit works very well.
they told me about the drop and roll which is good and also said that they have lots of guys runnin 3 pitch 8 t drivers with a 2.5 and says it works good but like you said drop and roll is still good

Yes, I ran a 3.0 pitch on mine cuz a got a great deal on a track. But, without the drop and roll, it sure suffered in the deep dry days. Any other time, it wasn't too bad. But man, on a deep day when you need it the most, you just plain choke it off and your track speed drops to nothing.
I think some guys doing the 3" pitch are running the 7T and then it should be fine. 7T 3.0 is smaller than a 8T 2.86 and larger than the 2.86 7T I think?
I run the 2.5 2.86 Camo ext and it's pretty tight but has been working better all around so far than the stocker(maybe not as good in the super dry stuff).
