1st Ride 10-25-2010

Headed out to corona Pass this morning with a buddy of mine, With all the new snow the last 2 weeks I figured we'd be pretty safe for a road ride to start breaking in new sleds and topends. What we found was almost better then all of last season! Gotta love powder turns the first day of the year!

Not to bad, about 15" on the road out of the parking lot, 3-5' up to the trestle, top is wind blown and rocky. made 15 miles of powder turns today Not a bad road ride!

OMG that looks AWESOME! I know that area. I can't believe it is finally here. I may have to load up the sled and drive out sooner than I planned. Thanks for posting the pics. 3-5 feet up by the tressel? That's just insane! It got to almost 80 here in the NW burbs of Indy. I'm livin in the wrong place damn it! Ride safe.

Looks good.I'm in Dillon/Summit County(at 9000') and last night it was raining,but when I woke up this AM it was snowing and has been all day.6"-8" on the ground here but up a little higher.......
My snow shovel for my driveway is still under the deck and my sled's are still in my friend's backyard.

Guess I'll be picking up the sleds and breaking out the gear bag from the closet soon.
