1m900 horsepower

i just traded my 03 edge x 600 for a 04 1m 900 efi ,was wondering how much horsepower the thing puts out ,and if anyone has had any issues with the engine ,also all the clips were mising from the left side of track but track still in great shape besides that ,would it be ok to clip the track every 3rd window.just wondering cause there 5$ a clip.

152 HP and tons of torque! Great engine. Biggest problem is deep powder bog due to the exhaust outlet. Front dump can takes care of that. You can clip two then skip one. I had a track clipped every third bar and it had too much drag, I added a clip between each one and the drag was gone. I think I paid about a buck a clip and borrowed a clinch tool. With no clips on it I would do every other one and use guide clips.

Why are the track clips missing from the left side of the track? Track hitting on the rail tip, trying to stab? Shucking clips out the back? Might be worth looking into...

i've got that sled still in the arsenal....i put a speedwerks y, pipe, and can on, and pulled the wire. added an AI box for lower elevations. i add whisker of fuel in the mid during the flat land trips. not sure about your track question...but here's a couple of things i learned.

that motor has a spot saved for it in the sled hall of fame. as the guy above said, the torque is so nice. so noticible, and the engine is indestructable. consider taking the helix down a bit...if you're running a 55/53, take it down to a straight 53 or lower. i run a straight 53, but depending on where/what you ride...have heard of dudes at 49.

a huge improvement to that chassis was going w/ a 16 wide track. i ran a 16 x 151 x 2.3. huge improvement over the 15 x 2. would consider doing that immedately...find a dude that wants to offload a 3.0 shaft and driver set off a king....and go with the 2.5. wish i would have. but she still ripped.

that sled, chassis was arguably the best in its time.

Just so happen to have a 16x162x2.25 maverick track for sale, track has been ported and has roughly 7-800 miles on it, few lugs torn but none missing. Put on a power claw instead. Email me at sdhoff@hotmail.com. Came off a 2005 King.
