i've got that sled still in the arsenal....i put a speedwerks y, pipe, and can on, and pulled the wire. added an AI box for lower elevations. i add whisker of fuel in the mid during the flat land trips. not sure about your track question...but here's a couple of things i learned.
that motor has a spot saved for it in the sled hall of fame. as the guy above said, the torque is so nice. so noticible, and the engine is indestructable. consider taking the helix down a bit...if you're running a 55/53, take it down to a straight 53 or lower. i run a straight 53, but depending on where/what you ride...have heard of dudes at 49.
a huge improvement to that chassis was going w/ a 16 wide track. i ran a 16 x 151 x 2.3. huge improvement over the 15 x 2. would consider doing that immedately...find a dude that wants to offload a 3.0 shaft and driver set off a king....and go with the 2.5. wish i would have. but she still ripped.
that sled, chassis was arguably the best in its time.
