This is a factory kit to upgrade the firmness of the rear suspsion rear shock, the Fox Position Sensing model. The instructions list it specifically for the 1999 models but might work in other similar Gen II chassis sleds from 1997-2000 with the X-10 rear suspension equipped with the Fox PPS shock.
I used it in a 600 XC SP. It has 3 stages of firmness depending upon what ride you want.
I'm asking $35 shipped in the states, slighty more for Canada.

How hard is it to make the upgrade? Does it completely rebuild the shocks? I have a 99 XC 600 that needs a rebuild

It's an easy upgrade and if your shock needs a rebuild this would be the perfect time to get it and install.
