Does anybody know what the differences are, if any between a 1998 summit x 670 and a 1999? thanks guys.

Well, ski-doo's web site used to let you look at previous model years but I don't know if that option is still there.
I know the 99 has an unpainted tunnel. I think the 98 is painted?
You could always compare parts fiches. The 99 may have different top end parts or shocks?

different color hood 98x has blue
99x has yellow
98x has aluminum dpm tube and 99x has the plastic one.
Both have aluminum tunnels
other then the hood and dpm difference they are identical.
