Hey all, new to the game. Came across a 1986 Formula Plus racing model packaged with a 8x8 snowbird trailer. Ended up taking both home, only to find out the connected rod was bent and the engine was thrashed. Ok. The sled otherwise is in beautiful condition, and has been garaged for the last 10 years. I found an engine for $400, and it needs a new track.

Any suggestions? I'd like to salvage it, others tell me not to. I've been looking at it for three months now, and it's been growing on me. Don't want to junk it for $100. Is the project worth it? Your input is appreciated.
