1976 Exciter....340??

Does anyone know if they made this sled in both a 340 and 440?
I found a pic of my first time on a sled and it was this sled, but a 340.

To my knowledge they did make a 340 and a 250 as well. I believe the 250 and 340 were called an Enticer or ET. Later there was also an Excell-III, 340.

Yeah, the exciter was the 440 the enticer was the 340 and I believe the 250 to be a bravo? Man I'm old.

the first 2 years they had the exciter was 76 & 77, both years had a 340 and 440 model in the exciter. 1978 was the first year for the enticer 250 & 340.
1980 they intro'd the 300 enticer.

That's gotta be right, because the pic I have is an Exciter 340. I'm gonna get a rash of crap when I post it, but it's a gooder! LOL!

My first new sled was the 1976 340 Exciter, but the part of the hood around the headlight was black not white. OH!!! the good old days!!!LOL

Man that brings back the memories.. my first snow scooter was a 77 STX 440.. wonder what the difference was from the exciter to the stx? was only a model year?? anyone know?? (guessing oil injection??)

Can you say Poor White Trash?? Green army knitted head sock (no helmet)....fake fur on the collar....probably tan corduroy pants.....and likely leather work gloves! Stylin'!!! I think this look is where Klim got their start! I want royalties! I was a fashion teen model for the Salvation Army! Ha!

What memories that brings back!! The ex and I had both the Exciter and Enticer in the early 80's! Now we ride newer Polaris's an 800 RMK and me a 600 Switchback but I smile when I see the sleds I first started on.
