I really don't know what he used for a track. I did see it run once though in the 1/4. He used Merc outboards (plural). I believe that someone has since gone over a buck ninety using a sled motor....

Yup...I saw the Bud and Marv at Lake Phalen. The Bud didn't do too much...sounded really good, but more of an exhibition sled. I believe it was part of the Winter Carnival. Cool stuff! Miss those days...

I get my Mtns in about 2-3 weeks a season.... Yes 190 is sick, but for us flat landers we blast across lakes and down trails at a buck all the time...like you said when you don't have mountains...

1700cc on nos is what he states in the video! what type of hp? how big is the shot? could this sled hang with the big turbo's 2 or 4 stroke? i realize it is a drag sled but so was halls arctic cat!

this is from 2004 and you can hear the distinct sound of a 300hp merc v-6. back in the mid 80's he had a jaws 3 which had 3 300hp mercs. they shut the circut down because the speeds where getting too crazy

I don't know who was crazier, the guy on a 1700cc nitrous rocket, or the crazy azzes standing 10 feet from the track as he buzzed them at 190mph.
