19 tooth top gear on a 2011 pro. noisy now

put a 19 Tooth top gear on my 2011 800 Pro now it has a whining noise. I did over tighten. Is this normal. Do I have to change bottom gear. I thought one tooth would be fine.

Should work if you have the chain adjusted properly. I had a whine before I did a 19/46/74 swap on my '11. $132 for all the parts (less the lube) on Amazon. Runs quiet now. Love the extra pull….

I have a bmp can that is loud. And I can hear the gears like a gear drive on a sb chevy. I will look in to replacing lower gear. 46 is a good combo. I am a heavy guy so that is why I wanted to gear down.

My 2015 rmk had a brake wine noise from factory almost like dragging little I just put a 19 tooth on top and re torqued everything and not a noise anymore so I would check over everything again just to see if 100 percent

What oil did you put in it? I tried something other than syn chain case on one and it was noisey until I put the synthetic in it.
