I'm thinking about selling my 18 rmk 163 2.6. 700 miles. Slp can.. front and rear after market bumpers. Exit x1. I think. I'll have to double-check. Front and rear. Pro gear down . Has under seat bag, tunnel bag and council, I'm thinking about going back to a 155.
What's y'all's thoughts on value.
Thanks

In Minneapolis, in Jan, when snow isn't arriving very fast locally or in many mountain areas, new sleds will be unveiled next month, etc., $9k ish - based on what i see for sleds being put up for sale, and watching some to see when/if they actually sold, etc. If you want to sit on it for a while and hope for more, you might get more, but the gamble is always, "how badly do you want to sell it" and when. What missing is the regular reports of big snowstorms. That would really help keep the values higher for another few weeks.

Specific to your shocks, if you have the originals, put them back on and sell the X1's separately. You will get more in total, than if included on the sled. (After a motorcycle dealer asked me "how much did you spend on aftermarket stuff that you wont get back in resale [and my heart sunk], I realized how true that statement really was)

Back in Nov/Dec when everyone's hopes were for snow to start early like last year, you could have found at least $1k more.

My observations, only. I suspect if being in a mountain region, you might see bigger numbers, too.

Good luck !

Thanks for the info. That all makes sense, so I'll go the route of taking the exit off and put factory back on.
Thanks again

new sleds are $14-15k at the dealer right now. makes the used market pretty strong, i’d say 9-9500. at least that’s what i’d ask for mine.

Yeah, the glut of holdovers seems to be gone, and despite the crummy snow year, a lot of skiers are buying sleds because the ski resorts are so restricted. Also, in general the prices on a lot of things are going up, so some guys may be able to sell a sled they bought a couple years ago for what they paid for it. But they'll be dropping that plus 50% if they're buying a new one...

Actually, I guess I'm wrong about the number of holdovers – the local dealer is showing plenty of 2020s – but they're asking $13k and up, where it was <$10k a couple years ago.

Lowest I've seen a new 21 is $13995 and I've seen 20s for around that much. I've never spent more than $10.500 on a new sled. I still believe they will have a price drop in February, but I'm guessing it's not going to be like previous years. Current rebate/insentive is over Jan 31st. 0% interest for 48 months and 1-2 warranty I believe

Sold my 18 SC with 1500 miles, bumpers skids, slp stage 3, pidd.... back in October... for 9. Thought it was enough. But now seeing what some of this stuff is listed at is crazy.

3 years ago I had a 13 switchback assault with 2500 miles. Had to give it away for $5k, I see the same sled with now 4-5k miles for 5 or more
