I have a set of 16 open chambers and a new set of AER 17,s Rooster Nest springs conversions with re valve . Rooster nest are fabulous, they sit high in the stroke only about 1/2 sag after adjusting preload and sweet through the bumps and a dream in the powder, very little bar feedback on the icy crud. They are better than my 16,s with 6.4 springs and revalve and over 1.5 lbs lighter. It solves the AER issue, I can feel the weight difference when riding, 1.5lbs hanging far out front is magnified through inertia and noticeable.
