Measured the tunnel at 16.75" which leaves 3/8" on either side of track.
Are there any unforseen issues using this 16" wide track...looks like it would work.
Thanks
Gary

are the rubber lugs and guides on the inside of the track the proper width to fit your rails! or are the rails on the doo that the track is from positioned wider?

It fits....just put washers/spacers between the tunnel and suspension mounts to spread the tunnel slightly, and make sure you have the correct drivers for the track pitch....everything else is the same.

You also need to grind a handful of rivets back a bit to keep it from dragging on them. It's completely doable, just takes a little time.

Theres plenty of clearance from each side of the track to the side of the tunnel at 3/8" on either side.Wasnt sure if the rail center to center width would be the same or not.
2.52 pitch on both sleds so thats ok.
Thanks for the replies

No theres really not plenty of clearance, I have one. Take the advice and add some washers/spacers to spread the tunnel. even doing this you will still maybe rub on occassion,

Wow,maybe had to much coffee with my wiskey that morning I measured.

its been done takes a little work might have to space rails appart

the rails do not get spaced they are the same distance apart from skidoo to poo... and like others have said although you might have 3/8" clearance when you measure it will hit rivets and gouge the side of the lugs... that being said add a few washers to the inside of the tunnel on each side of the cross shafts and it will fit... even with the extra clearance it still will rub the tunnel once in a while

Ive heard about guys running the firecat tracks, which are i believe 13.5 inches wide, and 128 inches long. you need to weld extensions to the rail. My father actually did it and says he saw drastic changes in hookup and hole shot. Just a suggestion
