155 or 163 which one and why

well i went with the 155 "short track":) hope i made the right decision, have been riding 160's for quite awhile now. hoping the lighter weight and thin design keeps it moving through the snow without the need of the longer track. have been noticing seems the higher track speed of the shorter track keeps the sled wound up a little more and gets a better mark on the hill. hoping i'm not gonna be kicking myself the first time in 2-3 feet of pow. when we ride i'm usually in front, or at least as much as i can be!!! and i've found the longer track to be a little more forgiving in deep powder situations... 431 pounds of pure heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ended up with a 163 but only because I bought my snowcheck off an individual. If I ordered myself I probably would have gone with a 155 as in my mind it's more middle-of-the-road for a variety conditions. I added a set of boogies for those low snow days. However, I can't wait for the super deep days to see how the 163 handles it. My 155 IQ would trench pretty bad on some days.

It's crazy because I was able to see the difference just cruising around on the trails. I thought the 163 was too long to play in the trees.

you wont go wrong with the 163 because deep powder days you'll wish you had it and playing in the trees its not that noticable that its longer
