155 or 163 Turbo PRO 2013

What is the best way to determine track length? Is it height / weight or ?

Definitely a Vohk Boondocker turbo set up next year on the 2013 just trying to figure which is the perfect size length to buy. I've heard it depends on weight

Every freind I've had that turbo'd a 155 has gone to either a 163 or 174. The 155 won't stay off of the back bumper no matter how hard you try.

It seems to me that a majority of stock Pro owners prefer the 163" over the 155". I would think adding all that muscle you would want a longer track. But I don't know, I've never been on a turbo.

If you don't know what length you want with a turbo, what business do you have with getting a turbo?

Is it just me or does it seem weird to want to go turbo yet you don't know what length track you'd want?

Get a 163. Best all around track length for a boosted sled. For added control under boost, I would suggest a Kmod or an EZ Ryde rear suspension as well.

I have the same debate every time I buy a new sled. I weigh 150 lbs which definitely puts me in a difficult spot with a turbo.
I can throw a 155 around much better during Boondocking but I like the stability the 163 offers when climbing steep chutes or lines.
Last 3 sleds I got the 163". If I were thinking of buying a 2013 to turbo, I'd definitely go 163". The 2013 is supposed to be easier to throw around so for me that would keep the stability for the steep and deep but give you back some flickability from the 2011 or 2012 Pro. JMO

how have your turbos been running on your pros?? what kit

what about a 144 turbo??
0-5000 ft......would you still got lots of power

180+??

I was looking into Silber turbos earlier this year and was told I would be in the 180hp range at 5 pounds of boost for riding near sea level.

Curious on durability on these motors when turbo'd. Anybody have any idea? Or heard of a turbo pro with over 2000 miles?

155 with that much power would be crazy fun though!!
It really is a blast! I am a fan of the 155 turbo set up. It definatly will tail walk, but a good coupled skid will control that. On long climbs my skis stay about 8" off the snow is all, and when you hit a bump uphill it doesn't want to throw you over backwards. I ride with a stock 163" and we get in and out of the same places. He's definatly a ballzier rider than I am though. The way I see it is bone stock the sled gets me into trouble. A turboed 155 is a absolute blast to ride and I ride to have fun.

Really? Why is that wierd? I think it is still a ligitimate question that should be considered. Why does a turbo'd sled have to be a 163? If you like how the 155 handles in the trees and that is where you spend most of your time turboing a 155 sounds like a proper choice as long as you can figure out a way to keep the front down.

The better question may be if you spend most of your time in the trees and tight riding would a stage 3 or 4 kit be better suited for the style of riding. That is the question I am mulling over as I type. It really is hard to say which I would prefer so I am trying to get dad off his M and do both. Seat time on both will probably be the only way to determine which one I prefer.

I ride trees every time I go and my stock sled gets me into places I shouldn't be I can't imagine a turbo but it'd be so fun. I wanna get some seat time on a turbo pro. Wouldn't need more then 7.5 lbs:)

exactly my thoughts. Nothing to extreme. low boost 6-8 lbs. Just really like the thought of some of the lines we can take on those DEEP days knowing that the only thing keeping me from making it is my lack of talent!!!

Exactly deep days would be sweet!
