154" track in a 151" skid??

Will a 154" track fit in a 151" skid if you add a big wheel kit to it? Are the drivers pitches the same on the two tracks? Only talking about 1.5" difference, but I don't know if the adjustments would take up that much or not.

I have the fabulous X track in an 07 and with all the powder we have this season I'm tired of the tranching issues.

No, the pitch was new on the 154, a 2.82" or something like that. As for the length, yes, a big wheel kit should take up the extra slack, if it doesn't, like mine, I spun the axle around backwards so that the stock forward offset on the axle was to the back, but this was with a zx, so you might have enough adjustment. I think Avid was making those 2.82" drivers with a hex shaft for older sleds. Good luck!

the answer to your problems!!

i'm getting rid of my 800 rev and have some parts that can now go too.

156 x 16 x 2.5 ported camo extreme. 3 hole porting. missing one lug. not sure of milage, i'm the 2nd owner. paid 575.00

dj's s8x clutch kit. 300.00 new. less than 300 miles.

avid products offset axle. 125.00 new 300 miles

avid products 8" wheels. 35.00 new 300 miles

avid products cnd'd 7t 3''pitch drivers. 117 per driver new 300 miles

would like to sell everything at one shot but would be willing to part out.

asking $1100.00

everything works well, just that after i rode a xp i new i had to upgrade and the dealer where i'm trading wants it back to stock.

Edit: i guess you won't be needing the clutch kit but we can figure something out.

X track??? Are you talking the Camo Lite??

The 06 440's used the 2.86 pitch drivers, $50 from doo..not bad.

track swap

I did this swap on my 07' XRS and you will need the 2.86 pitch drivers , big wheel kit and the 154 track. I would also recommend gearing down to a 19 tooth top gear (use stock chain) if you already haven't. Total cost is about $1000-$1500 depening on brand of big wheel kit.
