154 Alpha track weight

Searched and could not find the answer. Arctic cat states the 154 Alpha suspension complete with shocks and scratchers is 37.6 lbs but can’t find anything on the track itself.

Does anyone know the weight of the 154 Alpha track?

Country Cat has the non-current, open window 3.0 lug listed at 50lb. No weight listed for updated split window.

Non-current, open window 2.6 lug listed at 60.8lb. Updated split window design is listed at 62.2lb.

I saw those #’s but it seemed heavy for AC’s claimed weight loss over a traditional setup. Figured maybe those weren’t accurate, I was expecting that track to be mid 40’s.

There's a newer updated alpha track? News to me! Do explain more, would it maybe be more durable?

The updated tracks have two smaller windows in the center in place of the large ones. My thought would be that it would help tie the rods together in the center and keep them from flexing or breaking. Less flex = less heat and might help keep the paddles from delaminating there.

In my mind the two small windows would increase heat because they’re not allowing as much snow to push up through the windows.
