My guess is no, but does anyone know if you can run a 153 PC track with 8" rears on a Pro(Assault)? It will have standard Ice Age rails and Carls' drivers. Thanks

Do you have 153" Ice Age Rails? If you have 155" rails the 8" wheels wont work. You will need a MMP Freedom Axle. If you have 153" rails, I bet it will work. I you are interested in a MMP Freedom Axle I have a lightly used one that I would sell. Thanks.

Tony,

Ice Age makes the rails to accommodate the 8" wheels and keep the axle centered..

I've run the 153 on 155 rails without issues...BUT... Aren't you running the PC track with 8 tooth drivers from Jack??? The 3" pitch 8tooth drivers are a bit larger than the 2.86" pitch 8 tooth units... you may be pushing it a bit....The only way to do it is try.

The freedom axle is a big boxy thing... I DOES work but has way more capability than simply offsetting the wheels. ... they made a smaller simple unit.

Also... all the MMP axles require a 25mm bearing in the wheel (about 1")...

Good luck... call if you need help.

At least we got some good snow!!
