153'' stock track to 156'' challenger Extreme

I am looking at getting a challenger extreme for my M1000 153 and was wondering how to compensate for the extra 3''. My thought was to use a
9 or 10'' Big wheel kit as the track is stiffer than my stock track. I also thought that it could eat the extra 3''.

so what i am asking is if anyone knows if it would work or would i have to get rail extentions???????

It's not 3" it's only 1 1/2"
You don't need rail extension, just put the 156 track in it will work perfectly.:D

Moving the skid back may change the geomentry of the sled. I just put on 8" wheels and it works great......02:face-icon-small-hap

3-1 1/8" holes accross the middle rib.

I've got 5.;) 2# 8oz. lighter

I have the same sled and did the same track... I cut down the drive lugs so they didn't hit the dimond drive and moved the clips around for the same reason. The track fit without any mods to the rails, I have about 3/4" of bolts left. The 2.5 lug track works great with these sleds.

Can you fit a 16" wide on a 15" suspension. Have 151" 900 RMK I want to put a 153x16 with 9" wheel kit. Will this work?

You "CAN'T" put a 16" wide track in a stock M tunnel.:(

That being said I have seen a 9943 162x16x2.5 Camo Extreme put into a custom tunnel of a M sled. :face-icon-small-winThey used a DOO chain case and it was one of the best jobs I've ever seen done by Mountian Magic in Edmonton sled show last year.

You "CAN'T"fit a 16" wide track in a stock IQ tunnel.:(

You "CAN" put a 153x15 with offset axle and 9" wheels in a 151 skid of the IQ tunnel.:D

What he said !!!!!!:face-icon-small-hap

How about a 155" track on 151" suspension with 9" wheel kit. Found a good deal on a 155 series 5. And what pitch is the series 5 Polaris track? From what I have read the 3" pitch with extros is the way to go.
