I have a 03 1M mountain cat 900 that needs a new track. The sled had a 159"x2.25" track that I tore off. Right now it has a 9" two wheel kit to take up the room of the longer track. What would I need to do to run this 153" track that came off a nytro? Thanks
If you went to the stock rear 7.125" wheels it would only give you 2.94" less track to wrap around or roughly a 156" would fit. All depends how far forward you can move the rear idlers. You may be able to move the whole skid forward to the drivers by an 1" but you would have to remove the front plastic caps for clearance. I am assuming this is a 159" skid? After re-reading this it sounds like you have a 151" skid that is maybe moved back 2" and with the 9" idlers would accept the 159"? How many triangles are in the back of the skid?
