151x15 or 144x16

Which one do you think goes better if they were on the same sled in the same conditons with the same rider and if Say they both had a 2" track.

I did the math and the 144x16 has more track on the ground.

What do you guys think?

I have ridden both and slightly prefer the 144, shorter turning radius. The real difference is that you may have to go to a 2 wheel rear set up for the 16" wide because the narrower track is easier to pull over.

There is very little to choose between the two and I am almost indifferent. A 144 x 16 is equivelent to a 153 x 15 in track on the ground. That is 1" of actual track on the ground. If anyone can feel that, they have a more sensitive bum than I do.

I have a 144 x 16 x 2.5 Challenger Extreme and love it. You have the equivilant of a 15" track a little longer then a 153. Nobody notices the extra width when they look at it and then they wonder WTF when you can go anywhere they can and then some on your "short track" :D

Why haven't they all gone to a 16" wide track?
There really is no disadvantage. Am I wrong?

When it comes to manufacturing.......if there is a better idea...copy it(or improve it).
