151" to 162" Questions

Help fellas!! I just bought an 04 800, turbo, with a 151" track under it. I definitely want more track. I have a 162" Powerclaw. Do I need longer rails or can I move the suspension back and add larger, rear wheels? Also, what size anti-rachet drivers can I get away with? Any help would be great!!

That would be way to far to move the skid back to make that work, you'd barely be able to steer the sled, because the steering effort would be increased so much. Your best option would be to get the longer rails.

You should be able to run 9T drivers under the sled for sure with a 2 inch track.

I wouldn't move the skid. Just pick up some extensions and bigger rear wheels. You will be able to clear a 2in track with 9t drivers, if the track is taller the 2, go with a smaller driver. Isn't the powder claw a 2.25? Youll probably want an 8t driver.

I just put a powerclaw in my 02 edge, and yes, 7 tooth/3 pitch avid drivers designed for the powerclaw track fit and work.

I just put a 162 power claw on my 04 edge it's sick now, get lots of coments on it, get the 7 tooth avid drivers I would get some longer rails and a anti stab kit
