Has anyone changed from a 136 to a 151 on a 98-99 summit x 670 without dropping and rolling the chain case? Is it possible? I dont want to roll my chaincase.

8 tooth drivers
I used 8 tooth Whals bros 2.52 pitch anti-ratchet drivers. If fits right in there with those.

what HEIGHT track are you planning. Its not the length, but the lug height that determines if you need to roll the case.

I did the D/R so I could go to a 2" track.
Sorry, i should have said a 2 inch track.
Im leaning towards the 8 inch drivers if that will geve me enough room for a two inch track.

Do the D&R it's way worth it for the snow evacuation alone.
You can't get the templates anymore, and either way port the track.
Make em. I made mine. Trace the stock mounting out on cardboard, then move it down and back, redraw on tunnel and cut
Mine has a drop and roll and just fit 2.25 track in it off newer arctic cat also has 7 tooth 3.0 pitch Wahl Bros antislip drivers. that are pretty close to the stock 10 tooth 2.52 pitch drivers did this cause newer 3.0 pitch challenger type tracks seem to be fairly good priced and somewhat easy to find I bought mine as a take off at a dealer. had low miles. Have to move suspension back to compensate for the difference from the 151 to now 153.

Sturgis, Its a REV seat. Becoming a popular mod now a days fro the older sleds. Heres mine
sweet lookin 670 boys nice job on both,i,m putting a 159 on mine, setting back a 151, 3.5" back and 1" down for the front of the skid , just have to figure out where to secure my drop brackets,will post some pics when i,m finished, .
How hard is it to install? I saw once that a guy changed out teh seat, but had to do MAJOR mods to make it happen.
Thanks was a bit of work but not all that bad most other S chassis`s converted to rev seat usually change over to zx coolers in the tunnel and zx tank I tried to make the zx tank I bought fit with s chassis coolers and wouldn`t fit unless you lifted the tank up about 1 1/2 inchs and formard to clear the s chassis cooler inlets so I bagged that idea and decided to make the rev seat fit the stock s chassis tank was basically the same process as to mounting the rev seat to s seat as it is to mount to the zx I thought it was easier. and not tunnel mods and swapping cooler. in the process of setting up a how to thread on this topic I think I`ll create alot of interest.
seat was off a 03 rev has more trunk space than newer ones and x models
Ya I wish I got a larger trunk. Mine only has the little flap in the rear. Holds like 2 chocolate bars and a pop.
The main reason I went to ZX was I didn't like the front top of the seat not being covered. The ZX console acctually goes over the front of the seat, finishing the look adn securing it better. Just my thoughts though.
