151 extension to 156?

is it possible to extend the 151 on an 06 summit x to a 156 with the challenger hard 156?

Yes, pull your rails back and get a offset axle with 8" bw's.

The 156 Challenger is only available in a soft compound unless something has changed.

Ahhh...I was thinking the old 156 2.52 pitch 2" lug. Keep in mind your different driver diameter you will be using with the 3" pitch track, that will either gain or lose you some length depending on if you go with 7's or 8's......assuming you have 2.52 pitch now with the 151.

It shouldn't be a problem. Most sleds have the other hole if you look inside the tunnel. The rest could be made up with the offset axle. If he goes with 7t drivers he will need to move the front mount down anyway or the tq arm loops will rub on track all the time.

2.5" ext doesn't seem worth it.
