150x16?

I wouldn't think there would be any noticeable difference between that and a 154" Thats only about 1.5 to 2 inches more on the ground.

156/16/2.5 goes right in....regear to 19 top...then hang on..track speed will drop a little..traction goes up alot...and so does your high marks-BJ

Not looking to go longer, not much of a high marker either. Looking to make my sled more boondocker friendly without compromising too much floatation, any opinions?

going from a 154 to a 150 is to big of a jump...not enough adjustment on rails...BJ

What would it take to use that track on the 146? ( going to 150 ) Big wheel kit?

Nice way to cheat on your buddys and keep it quiet.

Does the 150x16 have the same pitch at as the stock XP?

The EASIEST way to get an extreme in your skid is by going with the 156.
You CAN'T go 150 unless you cut your rails.
Plus going 2" longer you won't notice any difference.
Having 2.5" paddles...you'll notice that.:D

And guys are using the stock 2.86 drivers without any problems.

Excuse my ignorance here. What are 2.86 drivers? I thought drivers were like 8 inch or 9 inch. One other thing what is 3" pitch I thought it was 3 (0) pitch. I looked at tracks USA and still don't understand. I am getting a new 154 in the fall and was wondering if I should put the 156 2.5 track on her.

pitch is the distance from one lug to another. 8 or 9 inch, not sure but normally they are listed as 8 or 9 tooth drivers. This is the number of teeth that a driver will have for a specific pitch.

For a 3" pitch track?

Yep.
If you buy a set of Avid 3.0 CNC'd drivers which are 1/4" smaller, they measure like 2.87 or something.

Doo also makes a 2.86 driver to fit the 1.125" shaft (06 440 drivers) which are $50.
Personally I think it'd be a happy medium for us Rev guys that don't want to run the 7 tooths cause they have such a small dia. and want a little more clearance than the 8 tooths provide.
And plus they're 1/2 the price of Avids.
