The dealer told me one cup for the full tank. It is mainly so that you can ensure the pump/lines/reservoir are all working. Mine have always been on the ethanol setting, it is slightly richer, probably a good idea.
32 oz per 10 gallons of fuel. The tank holds 11.5 gallons.

Initial Fuel Premix
Always premix fuel in 5-gallon (19-liter) increments in a separate fuel
container. Never add oil directly to the fuel tank.

First Tank of Fuel: POLARIS VES Gold Plus 2-Cycle Oil
After Break-in: POLARIS VES Gold Plus 2-Cycle Oil
Fuel VES Gold Plus Oil Ratio
Each 5 gal. (19 l) 16 oz. (473 ml) 40:1
Afterwords consider turning up the oil pump 2-3 turns and you should be ok thereafter. Some folks add 1/2 to 1 ounch per gallon premix instead.
Thanks guys, yea had a brain fart looked it up in the manual, duh. Will turning up the oiler void warranty? and also where is it located and how do you know how much one "turn" is?
