Using a 15 gallon Trail Tank on my IQR. This is a big a$$ tank & worried about the fuel pick up placement. With half tank or less fuel starvation would be a possiblity on inclines/declines. I heard the new Dragons have two pick-ups with valves to prevent pump from sucking air. Does anyone have infomation on this?
So far I have come up with a few options.
- Run two pumps. one front & one rear pick-up.
- Use fuel cell foam baffling & locate pick up in lowests dip of tank.
- build surge tank that fits low in bulk head & take pump suction off it.
- Tee pick up into front & rear locations & use some type of valve to prevent sucking air if such a thing exsist.
Thanks for your input.
