15*162 be enough for a turbo nytro?

Looking at just getting rails and adding a 15*162 for the turbo'd nytro. instead of going through the hassles of making the changes to fit a 162 under there.

also, is the stock suspension as good as the apex stock suspension?? thinking it's probably the same setup??

I stayed with the 15 wide and put a challenger extreme under it and it made a huge difference. I really like the mountain tamer rear suspension, such a smooth ride on the trail, still getting it dialed in but it is great. Much better than stock!

where in alberta are you located?? have you had any issues with the rails stabbing the track with the mountain tamer??

Hartman sells a nice set of rail extensions, put'em on and go longer! I agree with the 15 wide choice of the 162, just seems to be alittle easier to handle. The Timbersled is very nice, another thing we are playing around with is an 07 or 08 Arctic Cat M-sled rear skid. They handle really good and if you shop around you can pay as little as $600 for the whole thing.

put apex rails on my nitro with 162 mountain extreme 15 wide, always over backwards, it was nuts.. final climbing setup... heavier springs, (heavy spring option for apex) and screwed my rear transfer rod nuts up till red showed, sucked up limiter strap... now it accellerates up 3ft powder hills with skiis only 8" above ground untill the cornice then its up to the snow gods wether you go over backwards or over the top. i do however let out the limiter if im going to be tree riding for the day, easier to pull over and boondock with.

I live in Fort Sask and I do run an anti stab kit on the rails because I have heard of everyone stabbing their tracks. No problems yet but only 3 days with the new set up.
