141" Extreme vs Power Claw 141"?

Soooo, which one do you prefer?
Camo Challenger Extreme 141" or Power Claw 141"?

I'm currently using Camo Extreme 141" and it hooked really awesome and arm stretchin - unfortunately only the very first time I used it. At second trip lugs vere bend and it had no grip anymore :( Pal has M1000 153" -09 and his track is still as new even it has twice the kms. This made me think of changing to PC.

What's your opinion?

I never tried a 141 camo 2.25, but after comparing the 153 camo 2.25 and the 156 camo 2.5 to the new powerclaw, it was a no brainer to go to the powerclaw 141 on my sled. It outclimbs similarly modded sleds with the 153 2.25 consistently, so I feel very confident in saying you'll be happy with the switch.

One thing that REALLY stood out to me; when sidehilling way up high, the snow gets windblown & hard, the camo 2.25 would wash out & become scary all the sudden, the PC sidehills on the nasty hard wind crust hugely better than the old track & slightly better than the 2.5.

Wasn't planning on it, I've got 1600 miles with no problems SO FAR (knock on wood) & I run my track as loose as I can.

I have an 07 M8 141" and was thinking of going to the Power Claw track and have heard many good things about the track compared to the stock Challenger...but then heard that after a few hundred miles the track paddles will roll over like the attack paddles would making for interesting downhill rides. Anyone had this experience?

I haven't heard of a camo challenger extreme folding over before. They are supposed to be the toughest tracks out there. Something doesn't sound right.

Thats something I can't understand. If you run the A-20 in the pow postion it is great coming down hills. Even if they fold over. I have a old M7 with the atttack in the pow postion and i love it coming down hills. Bites good.........Now in the spring.................it just sucks!;)

Put the P.C. on the 153 M1000 last year and the paddles didn't bend over at all. But I always keep it off the track when not in use. 162 P.C. this year!:D:beer;

Best track I have ever used. Will be putting one on the wifes 07 M8 141 this year.:)

I don't know about the 2.5 ce (had one on my mc900 but it was 162x16) but I replaced my stock 153 2.25 ce on my m1000 with a 153 pc and I can't even describe the difference!! works so well that I had to re-setup my rear suspension!

on the powerclaw, the paddles are angled back like the a20, but the "fingers" on the outboard edges are hooked forward. but trust me, it hooks hard on harder snow. downhill is not an issue as long as you don't lock it up.
