13 YZ450F to 16 YZ450FX fit kit parts

Hey fellas, I bought a new bike as you can see by the title and I need some fit kit parts. So I go on the timbersled website and use their converter deal to find out what parts I need and input my bikes and everything's looking good, I need $130 worth of parts, no big deal. Put them in my cart and try to check out. No go. Bounces me back to my cart. So I start phoning a couple of timbersled dealers around me to hopefully get these parts ordered. They tell me "Polaris has bought timbersled and are changing the part numbers over and it isn't done yet so we can't order the parts you need because they we don't know the new part numbers." Anyone else in the same boat? Can any dealers on here, preferably in Canada hook me up with the required parts? This is pretty frustrating since I work 13 days on and get 8 off so I try to line things up for my days off. This seems like a terrible time to make this switch.

Yes same issue for myself... All types of wrong info... My dealer had to call for 3 weeks... And they are a Polaris dealer also and got the run around.. still can't order some things like hifaxes .. I have been working at it for over two months... Sorry to say for me the bridge has been burned ...

2 months huh? Brutal! That's really quite disappointing, maybe I'll be a former timbersled owner...... I sincerely hope this s*** storm gets sorted out real quick.

I do have my fit kit coming though with that said... At first they were saying I needed a different shock though which was wrong according to the website... There seems to be a strong lack of training and preparation for what they are doing.

My dealer received a letter from Polaris that states:

As of today (October 18,2016) all installation kits will take 2 weeks of turnaround time before shipping out to dealers. This will be the case through November 30th, 2016 when the turnaround time will drop to one week for the remainder of the year

I guess we all can grab popcorn and watch the sh*t show........

What a f*ck show. biggest snobike kit mfg combined with one of the big 3 sled mfgs decides that late fall is a good time to make parts unavailable?
August was a good month for that!

Fit Kit

I waited more than 2 weeks for my fit kit and it was pretty far off and required modification. It also didn't come with a fitment guide I had to get someone at Timbersled to email me one.

I also ordered the Pro Ramp and a Gas can + Strap and those are both on a mysterious back order that neither my dealer or Timbersled can tell me anything about.

Timbersled lost me as a customer after this project its on to another company! I wish they had a rep on this site that could see our frustration!

Your 13 yz fit kit will fit your Fx.. Your spindle axle is a touch to big on the right side to get proper axle nut engagement , the nut only goes on about 2-3 threads if i remember correctly. You can either machine down the axle a touch on the OD or emery cloth it abit or flapper wheel your spindle out alittle on the one side. Or order the 16 axle which i did which was a waiste of money. All the other bushings and strut rod are the same
